Smoking Poppy

Graham Joyce has given us an update of a familiar tale (Conrad's Heart of Darkness)

When a divorced, middle aged electrician hears that his precociously intelligent daughter has been arrested in Thailand for drug-trafficking, he sets out with his drinking mate, an overweight fruit and vegetable seller and his son, a laconic born-again Christian, determined to bring her home. It's a journey during which he will be dogged by drug dealers, thugs of the worst kind, sorcerers and spirits.

Interesting story indeed, and yes I know how severe is could get in Thailand when there's anything at all to do with drugs, because I'm a Malaysian ^^ Usually drug-trafficking is punishable by death according to Malaysian law.
Thanks so much for sharing. I just want to say that I won't be posting much these few weeks because I'll be busy designing my own wedding invitation card, and have been learning how to use this computer software. The hard part is that she's french-cajun, and I am a Chinese-Malaysian, and I'm trying to create a blend in designs on the card as well. We'll see how that works out for me, and I'll post something when I have the chance. :)
